Yesterday
Yesterday has gone by,
Everytime you see the sunrise,
With the things you need to let go,
While it feeds the things that must grow...
When you know there's something still there,
But the paths you had weren't shared,
Maybe its not that life isn't fair,
It's just that fate is twisted in pairs...
And you can travel far back in time,
But its only just in the mind,
So anything you love from the past,
Must be meant for you so it lasts...
It's not about the things we may lose,
It's more about the things that we choose,
Although we all may walk the same line,
The path you chose was different than mines...
But even roads that seem to divide,
May have shortcuts hidden inside,
So some things we lost yesterday,
Can find a way back to you someday...
