The choices in life are yours; make them wisely.

Yes or No By Franklin Price 4/3/2017 Something's out there for me, it's not so far away, in the shadows of the night or in the light of day. It could be good or could be bad, but I always have a date with life and choice and chance and luck, some would call it fate. From the time I entered this life I live, and until I reach the end, the things I meet along the way, be they enemy or friend, become a part of who I am, and what I have to say, about the way I pass through life and what I do along the way. For most of us the path we take is just the one we choose. After childhood and teenage years, it's ours to win or lose. If fortune has bestowed on us, the gift of yes and no, then the choice is ours, as we move on, no matter where we go. You might think it's not that way; not always false or true. If you think about it there's no other choice for you. A choice you made some time ago, and maybe not so far, set then the course to navigate, and put you where you are. It's hard at times to see this, and believe that it could be, that no one else has put me here, no one else but me. I do not say that I alone, affected every choice, for many choices that I made were through another's voice. Mother, Father, Teacher, Friend tried hard to help me through. I did not always listen to what they would have me do. For mine was not their choice to make, but only to suggest. In the end the choice was mine, to lay the choice to rest If I have a goal in life or a philosophy, it's to accept how I got here, was through the fault of me Cannot always take the credit, for what prompted me to go, but I recognize I had a choice to answer yes or no.
