Yellow Brick Road

Coming to grips with life
learning to say goodbye
to the things left behind
Giving a moment for the tears
moving on is must
too many depend upon me
for me to walk away
 After catching my breath
it's time to continue this scroll
down this lonely road
No matter how far life has taken me
I'm never far from those who love me
more than a loved memory
 Being filled with their dreams
looking back is hard
temptation remains there
whispering turn back
this is road is uncharted
As many decided to take their rest
the spirit inside urges to move on
down the road beyond all that is known
