Years From Now

ice cream dreams melt away in the heat of your eyes my body turns to insect wings as I choke on hello I dance in the circles of your love never knowing where I'll land black lines of pain fill my vision and I watch you walk away soon your face will be a faded picture in my memory someday I will sit alone and sad trying to remember how I got here and I'll never know where you went but I will remember your lips on mine and know that you were real
