Years Come and Go

I watched a year come and go And then I watched another Pretty soon I'd watched a lot So one looked like the other I had children, so did they And I marveled it was so I was in school not long since Where did all the New Years go There's another comin' up Maybe I'll swim the channel Or climb the highest mountain And ditch this checkered flannel Could I be another me An aggressive so and so And take this world by the horns And make it beg to let go That's a thought before my nap Could I yet learn to be bold But then again life's been good I sort of like bein' old 12-22-19 Contest: Strand Select 2 Sponsor: Brian Strand
