Year Fifty Two
Oh what a glorious day it is
And happy birthday to you I say
Fifty two wonderful years for you
And many more you’ll have I pray
Don’t look so down in the mouth
And pout about getting so old
Be glad you’ve lasted this long I say
Many more stories you have to be told
There are so many you have that care
And these things you need to know
Why look at all the things you’ve done
And the love and kindness to all you show
There are the boys in your life of course
Sometimes they don’t show you enough
But just below their nonchalance
Is so much care and love and stuff
And then of course there is me
The me you just cannot do without
You know that I care and you care too
So just never worry or have any doubt
So happy, happy birthday!!
And say hello to fifty two
It is just another year you know
And it is a great time waiting for you!!
