Xenophobia

Who wants to think
Of hate that stinks?

Not us but them
Till bomb bursts dam

In a mad fling
Wild shooting springs

Fear in swift flow
Now crusades blows

The world comes round
To taunt home grounds

Violence now curls
As terror hurls

In our backdrop
Extreme views crop

What starts alone
Can blast our cone

In a mad flash
Destructive crash

Why us you ask?
Terror now basks

If you but see
Hate's killing spree

Be willing now
Know why and how?

No one is safe
Yet live most brave

Violence destroys
On any soil

Live well each day
Prey less yet pray

Be willing still
To forge bold will

Let intent clear
Deal with odd fear

Terror knows well
Hate's empty shell

Truth can be harsh
In this wild marsh

The world awakes
To violent shakes

Why us you ask?
Terror yields husk
