Written Memories

I remember when we watched sad movies...
A place where you were the only one I'd see...
It's ok I believed that what we were no one else had...
The music played in the background as emotions sang sad...
Too much a tug of war on who would love more...
And after the credits rolled two hearts lay torn...
A poet and a writer that couldn't change the ending...
You will write a novel and I will rhyme a new beginning ...
Yours will have deep characters and mine formed memories...
But without us I would have no written poetry...

Ah, sometimes indeed a painful experience can unleash the writer in us-- I think everything happens for a reason and this experience for you may as well be that-- at least from this, something fruitful was born....missing "n" in beginning, btw-- thanks for sharing, this Michael and all the best in your contest (ha now I am rhyming) :) hugs
