Written In The Stars
"Written In The Stars"
An inspirational phrase.
It encourages hope
And fantasy displays.
If things happen by a force
That controls the future - understand -
We ourselves are that force!
The Stars rest in our hand...
Timing factors in
When we make a new friend.
Are we feeling vulnerable?
Need someone new on to depend?
Have we been yearning
To find our "true love"?
Another crosses our path in the same mindset
As though it's destined from above.
Life can throw us down
For lengthy stretches at a time.
Then something wonderful happens
As though it was divine.
I don't mean to burst bubbles,
But what's "written in the stars"
Is the reality we choose to endorse,
To live, to become ours.
