Writing Poetry

What I write is gone the second it hits the page I write with the frenzy of a wild cat in a rage It spits and hisses and snarls at me along the way This is how I write poetry every dashed day.

I write more in a daze than a frenzy. Your poem helped me Caren, as soon as the poem is done I forget it. Perhaps because I haven't penned anything that is memorable yet but I sure have enjoyed writing them and reading other poets work....

And good stuff, too. Often I get asked to recite one of my poems. Out of thousands I have written over the years, I cannot recite a single one. That is sad, isn't it?
