Writing Is Like Riding

The exercise of writing is like riding A Spirited horse. One never knows Where we may end up At the end of a trail-blazed course. The first line tends to set the pace All others often follow. Where it leads To land or seas from there may be Deep inside or shallow. Thoughts in the mind of horse or human Guiding reins and bits; Up and down as some have found Prancing while they sit. Anxiously in the slippery saddle awaiting Thoughts, words, directions or deeds; While the ride rolls on writing Poetically proceeds. As if Driven by the animal or Soul within a soul; Writing is like riding To a stable filled With gleaming Mountains Of gold.

Couldn't help but notice, the poem is written as if it were an arrow pointing downwards. P.S. you're a great poet my friend
