Writing Hobby
My time is consumed,
and I feel marooned
in the jungle
of trouble
left in the wake
of my mistake.
All my hobbies
like zombies
are brain dead,
dread and unfed,
in the graveyards
of old time cards.
And yet I still write
late into night
when the shame
and the blame,
the folly of you,
won't accrue
on the deficit edge
of the ledger.
