Notes About The Poem

A poem wrote while thinking of my loved ones this Valentine's day. In hopes that if nothing comes from my writing at least someday they will have my work to look back on in loving memory. In the end, all my thoughts to paper, all my experiences and mindful visioning open for their eyes to see. My wife, my children, my extended family and friends, I love you all.

Writer's Legacy

I hope to find that my soul is ill content'
to rest merely on words that I've spent
For my hand knows to wander aimlessly
with all mind towards a writer's legacy
and where I'd like to give credit to self
with stellar writing that leads to wealth
Instead, my thinking outshines ambition
with that in thought, this is my mission
That my heart bleeds out in ink of mind
on paper, for family, before it's my time

Just curious about the lack of punctuation, is it intended?

For this poem, it was. You'll find plenty of poems that harbor no punctuation.
