Writer's Block

One day the words just stopped
A friend told me maybe its writer’s block
I don’t know what to say
No words seem to come my way
The words were lost in translation
Sorry I have no explanation
Lost for words, doubting each one that comes out
I don’t think I can do this without having to shout
I feel every word I try to say is dangling on by a thread
Their lost and always on the edge
It seems as though everything around me is falling apart
I’m lost and I don’t even know where to start
To write I’ve been anticipating for days,
Yet this mystery still stays
I’m sure my words haven’t lost their creativity
To inspire and encourage; that is why I write poetry
Every moment and every day I search for clarity
Tired excuses for my own emptiness
It feels like my words are hiding from me I guess

Have you seen my words?
Did you take them with you when you left?

LOL……

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Sounds like to me you are standing in a sound refuge. So, just take a look around. Peace be with you and blessings my friend.
