Writers Block

A thought with no inspiration at all
Not even a sentence, nothing small
This writers block has got to me deep
I toss and turn and cannot sleep.

Oh this curse can't last forever
Words and I belong together
Usually the words flow free
Maybe they need a break from me.

Well I guess I have nothing more to say
The words just simply have gone away
Maybe I should take to my bed
Then I can dreamof words instead.

I think it is "exhausting" as the poems come into my head after bedtime ... lol - Then I'm wide awake ..... Like your poem Hazel - Have sweet dreams, not words and rhymes. - Have a relaxing weekend. - oxox love Anne-Lise :)

I know the feeling Anne. My words normally come in the shower.. then when I'm out they've gone again.. :-)

Looks like you worked right through the writer's block beautifully and successfully. I enjoyed it.
