Writer's Block

For all of us who've had writer's block
Will know these words are true
Sometimes the words just disappear
No matter what you do

You stare out the window for inspiration
But still nothing comes to mind
We look around the room for help
But the words are too hard to find

Sometimes we give up and walk away
And try it another time
But still we end up searching
For that perfect phrase or rhyme

It's almost like you're a child again
And forgot all you ever knew
Sooner or later it happens to all
Just wait til it happens to you
