Write Your Name Upon a Dream
Oh, dreams are rocked within the cradle
of the lulling, crescent moon.
New dreams pour from dripping ladle,
stardust trickles from a silver spoon.
The fireflies sing bright lullabies
and crickets play a magic tune.
Your dreams build bridges through the skies
and hypnotize the moon.
Oh, slumber on sweet dreamer; sleep
in arms that love you as you are.
Collect the treasures you would keep
from within realms of wishing stars.
Oh, lasso dreams from in the night
and drink the promise of moonbeams.
Save for tomorrow hope's delight
and write your name upon a dream.
