Write a Poem
One of the hardest things to do,
Is to write a new poem for you,
What it will look like and how it will flow,
Tempo if any and how it will go.
In all of man's ages,
He has created many poetic pages,
To bring out hidden notions,
With words that create their own emotions.
With an ebb and a flow that you need ,
To put an edge on the words when you read,
So when I'm finished writing these lines,
They will stand the test of the times.
If this poem has gone wrong,
It will fade when I'm gone,
But if I have done my job right,
This poem will remain a beacon of light.
And in the simplest way,
If this poem is here to stay,
It will reflect a part of me,
And grant me some immortality.
