Wreckage of You
You are a cold piece
Work.
You left me on the edge,
Going berserk.
You have no idea how much
It hurt.
It was touch and go for what
It's worth.
I have never loved another like
You.
I have your name on my neck
As a tattoo.
I handed you my bleeding
Heart.
You loved it then tore it
Apart.
When I looked in your eyes,
I saw the hate.
It took my breath and sealed
My fate.
You filled me with hope,
I felt secure.
I took for granted you would
Be here.
I believed I was what you
Wanted.
The memories of us are all
Haunted.
You broke my heart,
Crushed my dreams.
You blew my mind to
Smithereens.
You promised forever,
Then gave up on us.
You looked me in the eye,
Gave the knife a thrust.
I wish you could spend a minute
In my shoes.
You could see the price paid
For loving you.
