Wrapping Up September

We wrap up September,
All tied with a chill,
And wait for October,
With baskets to fill

Of apples and pumpkins
And bright orange leaves,
Plus all those aromas
Each person perceives.

The calendar waits
For the page to get turned
As we welcome the weather,
From summer, we’ve earned.

Could we turn that page backwards to August please, Ilene. I really don’t like autumn particularly if it’s wet. Nothing worse than foot high grass that’s too wet to mow… and it’s still growing! Roll on winter… Bah humbug! ;-) . Just kidding, a nice harvesty write. Terry

Whoa! Not yet, please! The land has yet to dry out! Aloha!

It's already...already?...getting cooler here, and I could not be more pleased. This piece is a very nice "wrap up" for September, Ilene.

Nice one, Ilene. Never thought about how many baskets we fill in October. Sure 'nuff. Thank you.
