Wrap it around the tree
I ‘ve waited for this day to come
When the universe will no longer dance with the sun
I’ve waited for this day to come when the essence of
human life will no longer bear the painful sacrifice
The world will be free and bachelor's near and far will
Fall on their knees; the human conscience will come alive
And the earth will survive.
There are choices that you have to make
When you go through the gate; there are choices that
you have to make, so join me at the table before it’s too late
you argue from morning till the sun goes down
And nothing positive is done.
You gamble with your country’s future
And you leave the next generation to fend for themselves
While bullets are whistling over their heads
If you can figure it out on the count of three
you will find it wrapped around the Sycamore tree.
The stone is set into the ground
and destiny can no longer be found
you must rise to the occasion once more
and listen to the sound of the wind
when it pounced upon the shore
When nature is at work, the universe
surrender ‘s to its will and everything
become still. War will cease for a while
And the earth wills swallow its pride
Wrap your thoughts around the tree
And those that are lost will come beckoning
too thee; no sunken ship, no broken hip
But just the stillness of the earth will bring
Back the luster in life and the earth will recover
From its shame, and the sun will rise again.
Wrap your heart around the tree and the
Universe will listen to thee.
