Notes About The Poem

This is our promise:To honor those we've loved and lost. To honor those whose live's go on, but are forever changed. To not betray the debt we owe.

Wounded Warriors All

To Those who give of life and limb,
We think of her! We think of him!
Wounded warriors. All of those,
Who live or die as fate bestows.

We'll think of you beyond the day,
They told us you were gone away.
Or might not be as you have been,
With help you'll learn to live again.

We'll do no less! We make this vow!
Support is yours! Right here and now!

A hero's more than when they died,
We'll grieve then put our grief aside.
We'll honor-mark their resting stone,
Then move to help those hurt, alone.

And if their shattered body or mind,
Needs help to flourish, help they'll find.
We'll do the best that must be done,
To help the person they'll become.

We'll do no less! We make this vow!
Support is yours! Right here and now!

All soldiers must be respected because regardless of which country they belong, they all have one purpose, to save their peoples, they certianly do a really nice job and it is because of them that we are safe, don't call them dead, they are martyrs, someone who give away their life for our country, so that no harm shall touch it, it s a really beautiful poem and a joy to read, we all should make this vow, that support is yours, right here and not,

We ought to do no less than stand behind our heroes. It is as much our sacred duty as theirs to stand in our defense. Strong, well, written poem.
