Wounded Soul

You grew angry as i spoke
You beat me down with you words
as your hands left wepts on my body

The tears i held back burned like the
fury of hell for all to see
When they finally fell you just smiled at me

I grabbed the pillow in rage ripping it to shreds
I watched the feathers & cotton fall all over the place
In the crowded space
Disappearing leaving no trace
