Wouldn'T Change a Thing

Don't bring me flowers You know they will die Only last for a short while It seems that way with time, doesn't it? We blink and we have already lost an hour It seems we desire a minute to go so slow So we can relish each others dreams Talk to me for days on end I want to sort out your mind Learn all your twists and turns Find out why your heart beats with mine why we sway together, it's obvious I believe You took me into shelter From the rain You took away my darkness and kept me sane Loved me endlessly there is no bounds No boundary to cross over Just a span of fields I feel like you gave me a crown We may not have much We were born to be in despair We battle our minds frequently If you saw you would see we sometimes weren't all there We don't have money to claim No name written for fame We don't even have an out at our age One day we will cross a bridge that can't keep us separate from a home We will be cozy Not much but floors to dance on It's enough for me I wouldn't change a thing
