Would You Recognise the Risen Jesus

When we read the scriptures ourselves
of Jesus rising from the dead
put ourselves in that place and time
see whereabouts our feet would tread

Think of what it would be like
speaking with the folks of that time
rubbing shoulders with the disciples
being willing to call Jesus mine

Would you recognise the risen Jesus?
to really know who He truly was
walking down Jerusalem's main street
keeping all your man-made laws

But this Jesus lived above your law
He was the living epistle in human form
showing all the spirits fruitfulness so clear
even being at peace during a storm

This man had been dead but now alive
telling people all they had ever done
all of their sin He knew every little one
He lived in eternity past and future

After all this, can you truly know Him?
if He stopped you downtown what do you say
take in His every word claim it your own
walk in step each and every day

(Just some thoughts if we were to live in Jesus post-resurrection days on earth)

Things going well overall, was at consultant in July when PSA was slightly up to 1.2 but consultant sure it'll settle it'll settle down. So go see her again in October. My stammer has got worse since being on the hormone treatment which made my mouth very dry and still is to some extent but not so bad as before so was at Dr yesterday to get referral for speech therapist so that's ongoing. In general I'm back to full strength. Blessings,Gordon
