Would You Believe Me

would you believe me 
if i said goodbye tonight
would you believe me
if i said that id lost the fight
the emotions are gone
and im left empty
ive tried to control it
with everything left in me
im slipping faster and faster 
im falling apart
and im left alone here
with a broken and bleeding heart
would you believe me 
if i said "i love you"
or would you turn from me 
and think it untrue
