Would You Be There

If I were happy,
Would you be happy with me?
If I were sad,
Would you wipe the tears away?
If I were lost,
Would you be the one to lead the way?
If I were lonely,
Would you hold me?
If I were afraid,
Would you be there to protect me?
If so, where are you?
Where were you when I needed you most?
If I sked you to be my friend,
Would you say no?
If I asked you to help me,
would you walk the other way?
If I asked you to love me,
Would you laugh at me?
Would you take advantage of me or would you stay by my side?
Would you be there?

Poet Tacito March 10, 2011 at 7:31 AM There's a song by Europe called, "Tomorrow". If you don't know of this song, listen to it. It's one of my favorite songs of all time. That's what I thought as I read this. Gorgeous lines.
