Would I Forget You

Would I forget you
              Never that I know
              Would I remember you
               More than you ever know
Those deep blue eyes hair the color of a golden sun
A smile that would melt one’s heart
                And I’ve only just begun
You had my heart from the day I met you
It was on that first day I was determined I’d marry you
Of course, you didn’t see it that way
And when we finally got together it seemed like it took
                   Forever and a day
But here we are forty some odd years today
And I still love you as I did that first day
Your eyes still blue and though your hair has turn the color of
                      Snow
I could never forget the man love so
