Worthy Once Again

.

Who I am,
who I used to be
you still feel.

                The deep wound
                in my soul you
                somehow heal.

Each time on me
your affection
you lay,

                the darkness
                deep in me
                is cast away.

And it's you
who light my path
now and then,

                convincing me
                I'm worth your love
                once again.
