Worthy Moments

Worthy Moments
By: Tom Wright

Of childhood times
and nursery rhymes.
Of being a teen
and the years in between.
That football game
my fleeting fame.
That first heart throb
seeking my first job.
When contemplating
double dating.
When first we kissed
and nearly missed.
Upon leaving home
and feeling alone.
Of riding a bus so far
later buying my first car.
of military times
the wedding chimes.
Of a wonderful spouse
then building my first house.
Of my search for wealth
and problems with health.
Then of Jesus, the Son
whom I made number one.
The high point of my life
then the next was my wife.
These are memories you see
and they still work for me.
