Worth It

Wondering...
is going through the pain of not having him here still
the ache in my heart caused 
by the memories that my mind fills
the tears I weep often in the night
from walking away
taking that walk with nothing
more to say
walking until we were each out of the others sight
or so we thought...
is it worth it

Wondering...
is the getting up and facing each day
knowing it's just going to be the same
as yesterday
such a crying shame
hoping that call from him will come in
so you can be happy even if for
just a moment again
is this a battle I'm going to win...
is it worth it

Wondering...
about the what if's, could of, should of, and would of
about the mysteries of ourselves
we had yet to solve
looking back on mistakes that were
made and promises forgotten
what about our love which we doubted
the regrets that have since set in
all this it's no wonder i don't
know where to begin
I do hope soon there will be an end...
is it worth it

there is one thing I know for sure
it might have some people floored
when they ask
is all you've said you've done for him wroth it
I get to look then in the eyes and say
with all I am and will be
with all my heart and soul
I believe so
he's the one I'll never be able to let go
