Worth It
If I could steal the breath of life,
If stars could loan soft, their white veins
I'd take each planet's time and I'd
Still give you each light that remains
If I could kindle in some hopeless place,
If I could with heart's hearing, spark new stars
Or to render with saint's shoulders; the grace
To meet you completely, where you are
I'd banish all the taxes of time;
And halt the high constellations flow,
If I were the god I'm not, but I'm
Just this beat of time, that wants to know
