Worry Gets Us No Where

Why worry when you can pray
Having your mind going around all day.
Worry is like a rocking chair
Rocking, rocking, and getting no where.

Worry gets you and me no where
Worry steals today thinking about tomorrow.
Instead of worry, give it to God, and trust him to
Work things out have no fear.

Abraham, Truly wonderful verse filled with so much truth. I love the way you compare worry to "a rocking chair." Prayer is often the only answer to our worries. President Lincoln would have been proud to read this poem! Thanks for reading "Too Fast for Me." Love, Carolyn
