Worried Little Blossoms

Blossoms in the trees,
Worried their color too dim,
Stretch out for more light.

Technically not a Haiku due to the personification, though it is in the traditional Haiku 5-7-5 line format. Thanks!

Hi MC... I saw a comment you wrote on a poem, so I wanted to visit.. I'm glad I did, I love the imagery in this and it's ok that it is personification :) You are an amazing writer and I'm so glad to see you here posting again. Big hugs, friend x

Wow! This is such a dazzling verse with dazzling imagery my dear friend, MC. It's indeed cool sometimes to write a poem about the beautiful places we've visited. I've just came back from Korea and I saw what you've exactly described in your beautiful poem! Great Job! May I keep this gem as souvenir pls? Thank you so much! love and hug, Leonora

Awww, thanks...wrote this back in the spring when the cherry blossoms here in Korea were in full bloom...pretty. Though Paul made an excellent point below...so I will have to make that correction...but I'm getting closer! Thanks for all your support Paloma! MC

Hi MC...this is more of a haiku than the first one, which I would have put as a Senryu. I like the image which you present here, but allow me to point out that haiku does not permit personification, so blossoms can't be 'worried'. Regards // paul

Excellent point Paul my friend! Great critique...very helpful. So this is probably another Senryu perhaps? Maybe we can chat about it sometime. Anyway, thanks so much for the read and your helpful comment! MC
