World's Merry Go Round

We never do have reasons until
If we even have reasons at all doing what we do
It all becomes a need to do when we don't feel
This is the so-called life we now have and knew

We spend so much lifetimes to have what we have now
Are we too much people to have lost control?
Simply a recreation of world's merry go round
I did not remember starting a life to lifelessly enroll?

Life cannot be fair, I can understand
But to the point of extreme and even laws against...
What exactly is our grand plan?
Why do we need to constantly remind ourselves to maintain?

I am more then convince that we don't make our world a better place
Because our world are sharing differences unacceptably
World leaders are like friends who cannot agree with the same taste
Do you need a more sophisticated answer arguably?

It all started with a never do until?
The so-called life we all share and perhaps knew
All we ever wanted, is to lead simple lives we sacrificed to build
And to get there, what would world leaders do?

Your World's Merry Go Round reminds me of Climates by Andre Maurois. Aspiration and nostalgia. So, I arise a cup of wine: a Toi! (with the song of Jo Dassin)
