Worlds End

Why is it we always believe profits of doom of words.
Only human nature believes the worst and hope for best
Reality is that we strive to be worried in great herds.
Listening to the worst of times hiding from our zest.
Dealing in hardship and bigotry, when we are all the same,
Seduction of evil seems to be all and everyone’s game.

Evil is not the demon we should be fighting against today.
Nearer to each other, we should be and that would be the way.
Driving away prophetic doom, precious peace would play.

You put forth a very profound question in the first line and I wish I knew why we "believe prophets of doom of words." It is good to have hope for the best, but too often we tend to believe the worst. Indeed, bigotry is an ugly thing for we are all the same in God's eyes. And the last line is priceless, Cecil. If only we could rid the world of these "prophets," there would be a greater chance to achieve world peace and common acceptance. Very wise! Love you, Carolyn

Many are in flavor precious peace if we could all get there then there would be only minor flare ups which mostly could be handled very easily. You have presented the ideas here very well. Keep writing. Sara P.S. Thanks for the comments on my work. You are to be commended for the adoption of two girls and it sounds like you are handling the psychological part with honor.
