World War

Sat around watch as time passed me on by.
The days were long, my eyes never dry
As I watched people went about doing their own thing.
I sat back to see the reaction it would all bring.
Over here the sun was shining. While over there people were defining.
Words of war words of hate
All they really wanted was some control of their own fate.
The war machines are being heard.
Hate becomes the word
Passing stirred
As one the world holds its breath , will it be our last.
It all happens so fast.
War machines gathering forming their line.
Their enemies fear they dine
Like fine wine
Reality is left behind.
No peace is there to find
A world gone mad
This will be bad
So sad
