World of Yesteryear

Whatever happened to the world of yesteryear, or the values we used to hold so dear. How sad a world in which we live, where compassion is the last thing to give. All of our ethics we'll freely ditch, if it means a chance to get rich. Our only concern is the status we maintain, or the prosperous life we can obtain. "What's in it for me?" We’ll often ask. Living life to the fullest is our only task. For we have but one life to live, our hearts and lives to Jesus we must give. May we always strive to keep Jesus near, and get back to the basics of yesteryear.
