World Balance
The darkness clouded me with unease.
Sensing panic, I picked up my pace
moving forward, never slowing down.
Weightless in the arms of morning breeze,
pulling me in for a warm embrace,
as I took a step towards freedom.
Pulses and sweats have found its release
when my shadow chose to stop the chase;
at last, revived at the break of dawn.
