Wordsmithing
I find myself
adrift in thought
of words I'd like to pen,
some in verse
not always rhyme
to share now and then.
Can be fiction
sometimes not
or just a point of view,
created by the use of words
a thing I like to do.
This elementary exercise
intent to entertain,
perhaps just me
and sometimes others,
words I did arrange.
Should it bring
smiles to face
or thoughts to comprehend,
that simple task
of writing words
effects, I did intend.
