Words of Optimism

When life has you down,

Don't just sit there and frown.

When you feel beaten and tired,

When your plan has backfired,

Use the knowledge you have acquired.

When good fortune is no more,

Seek the company of those you adore.

When success evades your path,

Don't listen to the guidance of wrath.

When the hours and days take your youth,

Let old age and wisdom your pain sooth.

When those around you conspire againts you,

Smile and pay no attention to all that is untrue.

When the world seems dark and gray,

Don't be part of it and treat it as a holiday.

When the rain is streaming down your window,

Don't sadden, After the storm comes the rainbow.
