The "dulcid tones" of a loved one's voice ring bells of joy in the soul. Great piece Carol. - Chuck

I know. I hear my husband's voice and no matter where I am, I know I am home. I also appreciate being able to hear, in general, and all of the amazing words and sounds that life holds. it is truly " a joy to hear" :)

I think modern cinquain goes by words more than by syllable count? In any event, NICELY done. The joy of hearing a dear one speak!

Interesting form, so is this a 1/2/4/4/1 syllable count? Just curious! Your write really spoke to me! I thoroughly enjoyed your entire poem a lot! And your voice Carol, your written voice, is always "a joy to hear"! I really loved your clever poem that you have written! Great Work!!
