Words From a Broken Heart

And now I'll try and forget you, Like I ever could,
Seems like I just regret you, but I guess I should.

Words from a broken heart, escape the pain,
My soul torn apart, this love was vain.

My anger is overdue,
my pain is a part of you.

I can beg for it back,
That sweet heart attack.

Nah i think I'll bid adieu,
And rid myself of you.

These beans got me in this fuzz, figure I'll be in the sky in a few,
So tired of what was, so ready for whats new.

Hi Jon, Love Caroline's comments. A well written couplet, very raw, real. Enjoyed. Take care, Love Light Patty

Indeed a wise decision. Holding anger and grudge only consumes us and make the other the winner. Nicely written couplet. The pain is still felt but so is the bravery to overcome and move on. Thanks for sharing. Caroline.
