Words
WORDS
How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. Psalm 119:9
The knowledge of words,
Is an introduction to the soul.
They are better and worse,
Can destroy or make one whole.
Once they are spoken,
Words cannot be recalled.
So be true to yourself,
Honorable with all.
Ideas need a voice,
Transmission to be heard.
Whether violent or calm,
We need to her the word.
Be they servant or master,
For they surely know the way.
They can guide us to truth,
Or lead our life astray.
Good words do more than teach,
Speeches often are a bore.
They reflect god's goodness,
Guide your life forever more.
Some words sever the heart,
Sharper than a sword.
Then there are words of comfort,
Messages from Our Lord.
When tears fill our eyes,
Our heart is full of pain.
Was it your word that did this deed,
Words wasted in vain?
Words are verbal signs,
They show the world who you are.
Use them to please the Master,
You'll be better off by far.
