Words
i feel that i pollute these lines
by sharing them in words
if thoughts could be transferred to minds
my soul would fly like birds
too often now adays i see
pervertion of this craft
not in the world of poetry
but in our daily draft
we often listen to the speech
of people set on lies
and many times they tend to preach
with words of any size
but what, i ask, is it they mean?
they're truely to inform?
when most of what ive heard and seen
keeps peons as the norm
i wish for days of truth and light
but those seem far away
so every morn i learn and fight
to make a better day
i know that some will read this write
and think i sound obserd
just listen hard when speak polite
in every single word
