Words.

Words
I love you
I miss you
You’re my everything
Forever
Let me hold you
Just words
Manipulators to the innocent
These words lead to an imaginary place
My words are here to spit in your face.
Show yourself
Your true colors
I’m sorry?
Don’t apologize to me
Get down on your freakin' knees
NOW let’s hear your plea
Sounds like you’ve said that before
Looks like you don’t know what to do
Your lips are curling
Your lies unfurling
Your eyes are empty
This bullcrap’s supposed to fool me??
Words.
It was an accident
Words!
I don’t remember it
Words!
You think I’m crazy?!
Words!!
I said I’m sorry!!!
You’re ignorance disgusts me
You’re persistence means nothing
Your words are empty
Your face is falling
Your hands are shaking
Your lies unfurling
Today’s proved upsetting
Go drown in your sorrows
I’ll be dAMned if I let you also ruin my tomorrow
Words?
You want words?
Try this on for size
I’m leaving you
Now let me SHOW you goodbye

Hmm! Piercy is piercing with words. I love the words part with its rhythm.
