‘Words’ , to explain its meaning, when someone tries, It is never enough for my heart to suffice. What is it? The mere joining of syllables to make it meaningful, And use it in literature to make it beautiful. For me, the scope propagates way beyond human imagination. It is like the beads woven in the thread of emotion, To form a necklace that makes up our identity. That has the power to turn a friendship into enmity. It possesses the power to express, The depth of pain when you’re depressed. The height of amazement when you’re happy, Or your anger coming to life when your day is crappy. It also has the capacity to make a beautiful face look the ugliest, Or even a tormented soul feel the loveliest. It has the ability to deceive people, And make them fall into the trap of evil. It can be used to completely turn a situation. Its careful use has been used for ages for manipulation. A person’s personality has always been judged by the words used, And for years it has successfully left the people confused. For me, it is the most undervalued human creation. It has always been way more than just a means of communication. It is like an invisible sea which has made many great ships to sink. To overlook it is foolishness, for it was never as small as you think.
