My heart
Stands apart
Seems I'm doomed to roam
Searching for a home
Days have turned to years
The sum of my fears
Ending alone
Remembering all I have been shown
How have I grown
Have I stood for what I felt was right
At times I can't sleep at night
Lost to what to say
Going my own way
In so deep
Can't help but weep
Nothing in life is meant to keep
Silence rings like a bell
Puts me under its spell
To much time
Lost in this rhyme
From you, time will steal
All that you may feel
Nothing is for real
Hold on so tight
If you feel it is right
Nothing remains
The darkening of the stains
Off in the future I see a light
Past this blight
Beyond my tomorrow
Feel no sorrow
For comfort you seek
Don't be weak
I grant this peek
To my soul
I have no goal
It is not too late
Be above hate
Should never be ones fate
What lies ahead.
Lost in my head
Emotions dancing so fast
Step beyond the past
Make life last
So much to show
