Words
As she sits there in the dark
remembering what was said
Her thoughts slowly envelope her
swirling in her head
Her tears they start to flow
her heart it starts to race
emotions overflowing
she cannot slow the pace
Why would he do this to her?
Why would he hurt her so?
Did she do something wrong?
Does he really have to go?
She sits there in the dark
and tries to get some sleep
his words still in her mind
again she starts to weep
