Yes, I can sense the loneliness of the woodpecker as the "shutters slam," Deb. The noise they make can be a bit irritating at times, but the woodpeckers probably think we're irritating as well. Love, Carolyn

Noisy Woody woodpeckers :) I miss the transition of the seasons...and the awakening of Nature...as I live in S. Cal. and "ain't" got that here :) Thanks for your nice comment, dear Deb!
